An Auberge in the middle of Touraine's orchards
For a country break or a food-loving moment, sitting on top of the fruit producing plateau of Touraine, between Azay-le-Rideau and Vallères' hillsides and between the Indre and Loire valleys, the Auberge Pom'Poire offers welcoming 3 star-rated rooms and a gastronomy table rewarded by the Michelin guide.
In 2016, a new generation has taken over: in the latest decoration of wood, metal, copper and duck egg blue shades, contemporary but welcoming, Bastien Gillet is the master in the kitchen and Emilie is preparing a most pleasant stay for you.
A bit of history: on Christian and Florence Gillet's initiative (the parents), the Auberge Pom'Poire opened its doors in March 2006 on the family plot and orchards. Bastien joined them in the kitchen in September 2006 and the art of hosting, so dear to the Inn keeper, has deliciously pervaded this house for 10 years. Since early 2016, Christian and Florence Gillet have kept and managed separately the catering service activity with at the head, Bastien's sister Léonor under the name LB Traiteur.
Welcome to Pom'Poire!
